As Reassured commemorates its 15th anniversary, we are thrilled to announce that they have chosen Winston’s Wish as their first annual charity partner. In a remarkable start, they have already raised an incredible £8,000 at their milestone celebration event.

Their dedication to charity is evident this year with the launch of a dedicated charity committee, passionately leading fundraising events and championing Winston’s Wish alongside smaller local charities. This partnership promises to make a significant impact, and we are deeply grateful for their support.

At Reassured, we feel a close affinity to the work carried out by Winston’s Wish. We know through our own work in the life insurance market how devastating the loss of a loved one can be for our customers and we are proud that by putting the right cover in place we can at least help alleviate some of the financial stress such a situation causes.

Phil went on to say: “Because of the emotional nature of our line of business and the many tragic examples we see of families being affected by illness and death, charity and fund raising has always been prevalent at Reassured. In the past our staff have run, baked, fancy dressed, collected easter eggs, given to food banks and much more to aid worthy causes close to their hearts. Last year, policies arranged by Reassured paid out over £50m to families suffering a bereavement or the diagnosis of a critical illness.

We were extremely moved by the case studies the charity shared with us (which we showed the entire business during our recent company update meeting), showing just how life changing its support has been for so many young people enduring their toughest challenge.”

Reassured exists to help customers cope with extremely difficult circumstances, such as the loss of a loved one. It is terrible to think of the impact the death of a parent must have on a child so to be able to support Winston’s Wish in their efforts to help bereaved children is an honour. I am sure our fantastic, caring staff will rally behind this cause as they have done for many others in the past
